Mauritiun's pride themselves on their vast eccelectic range of cooking talents. Finding somewhere to eat is never a chore. Everywhere on the island there are many restaurants, places to eat. From Traditional Mauritius seafood, to Indian, to Chinese and even Italian. There's something for everyone. Some places also have huge menus with a taste of food from every different type of cuisine on the island, so if you fancy a curry, but your partner fancy's a Chinese, it's usually not a problem finding somewhere which serves up both. Also for vegitarians and fussy eaters, dishes can sometimes be tailored to suit your needs if you ask the waiter/waitress nicely.
